In 2015, Suzanne Nakano created the Live Aloha Daily Award to honor the daily habit of kindness, generosity, and care. Each year, 10 students per school are recognized for their aloha through writing, art, music, or other creative forms. The Conduit Fund celebrates these students with cash gifts and trophies.

One student turned her teacher's aloha into art — layering the phrases and kind gestures she plants in her students daily into a collage that caught her completely off guard.

One student who was struggling academically found something in this award worth focusing on — and used it to turn that struggle around.
Rewards: Cash, Personalized Trophy and Certificate of Achievement, Recognition at a School Assembly, Words of Encouragement, Positive Life Trajectory.
Judging Criteria: Emphasizes an "overcomer" and "continuously improving" mindset.
